SPGM (Simple Picture Gallery Manager)

Hello There,

I have built a couple of websites for a friend of mine. They are on Mambo
4.6.5. I have been using SPGM for a couple of years and think that it is a
brilliant component; has good functionality and is easy to use. However,
the provider has taken my friend's websites down saying "The problem is
that the site as it stands is not safe to re-enable unless the faulty
component which let the hackers in (com_mambospgm) is removed." I am in
contact with the provider but they have not explained this comment yet.

Does anyone know about this fault with SPGM that lets hackers in? I need to
get my friend's site back up but am completely stuck with this "faulty
component"!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
