Amazon Merchant Transport Utility

Hello,
I have two questions on AMTU service.
1) I have set up AMTU as a service on Windows. I created a TestAmazon
folder in \Amazon\Merchant Transport\service\bin path. I have my feed in
here, but I do not see anything in the logs or outgoing folder. Is am I
missing something?
2) Is AMTU works in Linux or Mac OS . I have installed AMTU as a
linux version and runs fine after Amazon credentials, but do not create any
folders in my local.
Any help would be appreciated.
