Use numerical date in log file - ID: 2765902

Feature suggestion: Instead of (or in addition to) the text-formatted
date/time entry in the log file, include a timestamp in the numerical
format used by Excel and Open Office (i.e., right now the date/time is
39918.40 according to Excel). This will facilitate easier import and use
of log file data.
