5 scHelp File Upload Issues - ID: 2631263
Last Update: Comment added ( sf-robot )

I just created the scHelp project, but when I go to select a local file to
upload to the downloads page - the file upload dialog (with the file title
field and select file button) disappears. This happens in both Firefox and
IE 7. Do you need screenshots etc?

Justov,

Sure, I understand your point. On your project summary page
(https://sourceforge.net/projects/schelp), above the white space where the
description of your project is, you'll see some menu's. Once of those is
listed as "Admin". When you mouse over this, slide down to and select the
"File Releases" menu item. The URL for that is:
https://sourceforge.net/project/admin/editpackages.php?group_id=254259.

If you need anything else, please post a response to this request.

Cheers!,

P.S., Support items set to status of 'Pending', will auto-close in 14 days
if there is no response.

I am still not able to get my files up onto my download page. I have
created a Release, and even followed the links to the file management tool
and uploaded my file there - but it still doesn't show up in my 'select
file' dialog in the edit release page. What is the url to the file
management tool? I can only get to it by following liks within various SF
help documents, I would like to know a more direct route to managing my
files.

Hi Justov,

There is more to do than just uploading a file to the downloads page.
Please reference our Site Documentation
(http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/sitedocs/wiki) on this here,
http://apps.sourceforge.net/trac/sitedocs/wiki/Release%20files%20for%20download.

If you are already following this, please let me know the specific step
where things are not working as expected.

If you need anything else, please post a response to this request.

Cheers!,
