5 Can't drag and drop from KDE 4 in Comix 4.0 - ID: 2579319

Details:

The drag and drop from KDE4 (dolphin and konqueror) doesn't work in comix
4.0

the message displayed is "Could not open : No such file"
I reinstalled the 3.6.5, with it the drag and drop works fine

Date: 2009-02-22 12:16 Sender: herrekberg The problem is that KDE apps (or rather Qt apps I guess), mark drag-n-drop operations differently from most GTK+ apps, and doesn't accept any target that doesn't listen to these specific drag-n-drop flags. Comix now properly accepts drops from KDE apps as well. The fix is in the SVN repository, and will be included in the next release.
Date: 2009-02-11 06:36 Sender: ssokolow Though I don't normally use it, I can confirm the problem, though the situation is different. Comix 4.0 simply does not accept drag-and-drop from Konqueror and, given the way it makes that clear (cursor), I suspect it does not receive drag and drop of any kind.
