5 Enter key not working correctly on iMON Pad - ID: 2547042
Last Update: Comment added ( sf-robot )

That's a weird one: according to mode2, the select key is sending
0x0200002C and the enter key 0x02000028, which is the default configuration
in lircd-imon-pad.conf too. But when I actually run lircd with that
configuration, I get 0x0200002c for both keys with irw.

Setting status to pending, as we're waiting on yunosh for some testing when
he returns from vacation. The hope is that this was resolved by the recent
cvs changes to merge dual-interface iMON devices into a single lirc device.

I will try again with the new code. Unfortunately I didn't manage to test
it before the vacation, so I can't give you feedback before the end of
July.

Is this still an issue w/the latest lirc_imon in cvs? I'm not getting the
stray button presses showing up since the massive overhaul to combine the
dual-interface devices into one lirc device, suggesting possibly there was
some sort of buffer race going on with the old dual-lirc-device setup...

Hrm. My own receiver doesn't appear to have this problem. For the most
part, it gets it right for both keys. The only oddity I'm seeing is that
irw occasionally thinks something completely different has been pressed
(alternating back and forth between 'select' and 'enter', I get 'previous'
popping up in between sometimes). There are definitely some buffering
oddities we have yet to properly fully tackle though, so I certainly don't
doubt what you're saying. :) These remotes actually send two distinct IR
signals for most button presses, one for 'button pressed' and one for
'button released'. We currently ignore the releases, but probably need to
do something more intelligent with them...
