Slash

Recently slashdot "upgrades" have left it displaying incorrectly by
Konqueror.

KDE: 3.5.10-1.fc8 Fedora
Konqueror: 3.5.10-2.fc8 Fedora]

Given the open source emphasis of slashdot, I find this incompatibility
ironic as well as very annoying.

There are at least two problems visible in the attached screen shot:

1) There is an overwriting of the bottom of each article by what appear to
be random words but might be some kind of attempt at a navigation panel.

2) Something wrong with the script that puts up the advertisement on the
top right. The script always crashes.
