Here is a really cool idea that will make TightVNC stand out from the crowd
big time! I don't know what level your programming skills are, or if you
are capable of doing this, but if you can pull this off, TightVNC would be
one killer MUST have app!
Are you familiar with Multiplicity or Synergy? Same idea but better. The
idea is to simply attach multiple remote computers via VNC sessions and
attach them as though they were different screens. Now all I need to do is
wave my mouse off to the right or left edge of the current screen and that
remote session would then pop up. (In full screen mode of course.) Move
it again and I automatically switch to yet another remote session round
robin. After cycling though all remote connections, I finally wrap back
around to my local computer screen!
Should a computer disconnect and/or require logon, we could have a
temporary place holder screen that would be there and prompt for logon,
unless of course you simply mouse past it to the next remote screen.
This idea will bury UltraVNC and RealVNC!
