I was following the "Hello World" tutorial and had a lot of problems. I
read the bitbake manual and found that the link was incorrect in specifying
the "Source" directory (the directory where all of the "C" source files are
located). The bitbake manual listed the necessary directory as
<package-name>-<revision>. When I changed directory "files" to
"hello-1.0.0" everything went as smooth as I could have ask for.
