5 ENGR: Wiki access issue: nco - ID: 2027964
Last Update: Comment added ( sf-robot )

I recently suggested to a project I use

https://sourceforge.net/projects/nco

that they create a wiki, so the admin

https://sourceforge.net/users/zender/

enabled one and gave me developer:

https://sourceforge.net/project/admin/?group_id=3331
> * You are listed as a developer (not administrator) for this
> project.

> * You cannot perform file release operations on this project.

> * You may manage documentation (in DocManager) for this project.

> * You cannot moderate forums for this project.

> * You cannot manage news postings for this project.

> * You cannot manage screenshots for this project.

> * You cannot manage Tracker items (in all Trackers, by default) for
> this project.

> * You cannot manage Tasks for this project.

> * You may access and commit to this project's CVS repository (unless
> otherwise restricted by a cvs_acls installation).

> * You may access and perform write operations to this project's
> Subversion repository (unless otherwise prevented by ACLs).

> * You may modify the contents of the project web site for this
> project (unless otherwise restricted by file permissions and
> ownership) on the project shell server.

So I login to SF and go to the wiki, and get

http://nco.wiki.sourceforge.net/
> Welcome to the nco space

> Please Sign In
> Please sign in to create this page.

and there is the "Log in" link @ upper right. But

- I'm already logged in

- if I click on either the "sign in" link or the "Log in" link, I get

https://sourceforge.net/account/login.php
> Logged-in as tlroche

> You are already logged-in to a SourceForge account.

How to fix?

TIA, Tom Roche <Tom_Roche@pobox.com>

Greetings,
We have identified that this wiki issue occurs intermittently to a number
of our users. We have not come up with a root cause for the problem as
yet.

I am consolidating the various reports of this issue by creating a Master
Bug Report (MBR) This MBR is located at
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2034017&group_id=1&atid=200001

I am closing out this service request (SR) at this time, and it will be
referenced in the MBR by the original SR ID #. If you notice any special
circumstances that may cause this issue to occur (e.g. being behind a proxy
or firewall), please add that data as a comment of the above MBR.

I appreciate your submitting this issue. Your comments and service
requests really do make a difference in improving the quality of the
SourceForge.net site.

Thank you,
Travis West Technical Support Analyst, SourceForge.net

This is definitely intermittent: I just now retried with the same
tuple above, that failed this morning, and ... it works! Also working
is

browser=IE 7.0.5730.13
os=same

Greetings,

Thank you! Stick with us. We will address this issue. In the man time, try
different browsers and try it at different times. If you find additional
browser / os combinations that cause this, please log that data to this
request as well. That will help us as we investigate this.

Need anything else? Drop a comment into this support request. We'll get
back on it!

Cheers!,

Greetings,

This is a known issue that the engineering team is investigating. It is
highly intermittent and seems to shift form browser to browser. Please
provide the browser / os combination you are using along with the versions
for each.

Once I receive that, I will be assigning assigning this to our engineering
team to assist in their investigation.

Need anything else? Drop a comment into this support request. We'll get
back on it!

Cheers!,
