3 CTRL+X cuts but places cursor randomly - ID: 2024205
Last Update: Comment added ( ronnie_vd_c )

When I press Ctrl+X to cut text (the SCI_CUT shortcut) the cursor ends up
in random places much higher in the document than it should.

SHIFT+DEL (the old original windows cut hotkey) to cut does NOT have this
nasty side-effect.

It turns out the CTRL+X hotkey is *also* being mapped to a plugin command
labeled "V:Cut Entire Selection (no append)" ... unmapping that key solved
the problem. Not sure what that's about, but I think you should probably
unset that in the defaults.
