If I edit a user (let's say myself, the "admin" user) and I change the root
folder to "/" and click save, i get this error:
{"action":"","message":"The home directory doesn\\'t exist, check your
settings. (\/)","error":"The home directory doesn\\'t exist, check your
settings. (\/)","success":false}
If I go to the "admin" panel after seeing this error, I get this error:
The home directory doesn\'t exist, check your settings. (/)
In order to fix this I have to edit the config/.htusers.php file and
manually correct the home folder from there.
To fix this problem I think a good idea would be to make a directory check
when saving. If the directory "does not exist" (well, in my case / exists!,
it's the root of my linux machine...) then an error should be raised before
saving the data and making the user unusable...
By the way, check this out:

I'm wondering how the user could configure the root folder as "/", I tried
to reproduce that and got this error. Maybe in previous versions it was
possible to configure the root folder as "/" ?
