It would be much more user friendly to have this located where the user
enters the key file or password. I used to have the application set to
open the correct db but I had to remove this so that we could have the
ability to select the read-only option.
The other thing might me a setting you add to the keepass.enforced.ini that
allows you to set read-only and then when the db opens it opens in
read-only automatically and you have to uncheck a box to get out of
read-only mode.
My only experience is with the version 1.x releases but this should be a
request for all versions.
