1) sevserver log file erors becase $_SERVER[PHP_AUTH_{USER,PW}] aren't
initially defined.
2) $user_prefs suggests /home/$auth_user/... But /home may not be the
right place (e.g. generally isn't for root!). It's quite easy to get the
user's home directory.
Patch attached. (It also sets imap authentication, but that shouldn't be
set in the distribution, sorry.)
