QConsole

Hello there,
I am not a Qt developer but I am participating to Eric4 project which is a
Python IDE developed for and with Python/PyQt4
(http://die-offenbachs.de/eric/index.html). Eric4 already integrates a
Python console and I would like it to integrate a terminal console like
kate does. I guess Eric4 developer would be ok to integrate this feature if
bash console was accessible as a standard Qt widget, wrapped to Python with
PyQt4. So two questions/requests are :
- do you think a Qt4 terminal (bash) could be possible with you project ?
- if so, would you wrap the example into PyQt4 to become a real PyQt4
widget, accessible from Eric4 ?

ps: the french pyqonsole project (http://www.logilab.org/project/pyqonsole)
already exists and exactly does what I would need, but unfortunatly, it
hasn't been ported to Qt4 and is not maintained any more :(
