Details:

It would be better to use something portable like Java ( Standard ou
Eclipse ), C++ Qt or GTK based because yoour soft is only runnable on
Windows.
A lot of administrators run on Linux or Solaris..
By using portable libraries you can target Linux, Solaris and Windows with
the same Source code
