Operating System: Ubuntu Studio 7.10
Vtcl Version: 1.6.1a1
After extracting the archive and attempting to run configure, I am returned
the following error:
/bin/sh^M: bad interpreter: No such file or directory
I fixed the problem by running dos2unix
$> dos2unix configure configure
./configure then works without complaint.
It seems that somewhere in the configure file are some rogue Windows
characters.
