5 Log tab persists but is non-functional - ID: 1889832

Details:

I see a "Log" tab in the application by default. Clicking on it exits
icepodder.

In the preferences menu, selecting the "Show log tab in application" option
shows a second tab, but deselecting the option doesn't make either of the
two tabs go away, selecting it again brings up a third tab, etc. This
resets itself when I quit and restart icepodder, and I am left with only
the first, nonfunctional tab.

I am running icepodder 5.4 from the deb package in MEPIS 7.0.

Date: 2008-05-05 21:34 Sender: spankminister I'm going to close this for now, because I think it was fixed, and I can't reproduce it in the latest SVN. The duplicate log tab was fixed a while ago. If possible, download the SVN copy and see if this fixes the issue for you. If not, then please reopen this bug.

Reopen icepodder - do you still have 2 log tabs? If not, uncheck "Show log tab in application" and close icepodder again. Hopefully now when you open icepodder the log tab will be gone. If you still have 2 log tabs, can you close icepodder and run it in debug mode? open a terminal and cd to the directory where icepodder is installed. Run icepodder using python CastPodderGui.py -d > debug.log After closing icepodder can you upload the debug.log. Thanks Stu
