can't initialize properly: 0xc0000135 - ID: 1889791

Downloaded latest ver. from Sourceforge. But launching jetLCD.exe always
gives an error that it can't initialize properly (0xc0000135). Running XP
SP2. A web search revealed someone else with the same problem so I'm sure
it's not just me. Any ideas? Thanks!
