Komparator

Hello,

I don't know if it was the last or the update before when komparator began
to crash every time I tried to use it. It was crashing 30% of the time
befor that.

How I typicly use it.

I point the left side to a directory that is on ntfs and symlnk'd in my
home dir on my Laptop

I point the right side to a network share on a ext3 drive, accessed by a
windows xp desktop with ext2fs (an ext file system driver for windows xp)
that is access by samba from my laptop

Make the compare and then copy the updated/new files to the desktop.

Komparator before it started crashing all the time would crash part way
through the compare. Now it always crashes shortly after the compare
starts.

I kept hoping there would be a lib update of somekind that would fix it.
Has not run to completion in 3 months or so.

My system:

Debian testing
2.6.21-2-amd64 kernel
3.5.8 kde
0.8-1 komparator

If I knew how to get the lib info I would include that.

This is a clean install not an upgrade. Fully up-to-date. I do use
apt-listbugs to help keep the bugs out.
