gcc-4.3.0 build failure - ID: 1872696

version 0.8.6 fails to compile because of gcc-4.3.0 not including some
headers by default anymore (cstdlib,cstring). Pretty trivial patch against
0.8.6 attached. Maybe a fast 0.8.6.1 bug fix release or something like that
is possible so that distro's can pick up the new version.
