5 Connecting to multiplayer with 0.5beta on mac - ID: 1850399

As per:

I downloaded the Mac beta.

I then created a log in:
http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/register.py

When I start the game and choose multiplayer game then use the default
account server URL:

http://vegastrike.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/accountserver.py

I get this notice:
"Error when joining game!NETWORK ERROR in recieving socket (Error number
36)!!!

I don't run my server 24/7 so if it doesn't work try again in a few
hours.

But in your case if it really is the "36" error, that means EINPROGRESS
and might be a different problem.

If you ran it inside a terminal, can you highlight copy the last two pages
or so of output and paste it here.

If you did not, open up Console from Applications/Utilities, select the
last item that says "vegastrike", then hold down shift and click on another
entry about 40 lines or two pages up, then Copy that text and paste it
here.

I got the same notice in my new mac binary. The interesting thing is I
got in fine just after it compiled but now I keep getting that one whenever
I try... (Sinthramyr)
