5 Make value objects serialisable - ID: 1832345
Last Update: Comment added ( benoitx )

Wouldn't it make sense to make objects such as Tenor and TenorCode
serialisable? I noticed this project is quite low activity these days,
would you like me to send a patch for this?

No worries, thanks for your comment.
We shall plan a release 1.1.0 before EOY.

All the best
Benoit

Wow, that was quick! I had a look through the code since I assumed there
would be other value classes applicable for serialisation (we use RMI
heavily here), but actually everything else I see is either an enum anyway,
or is one of the calculators, which I can't see the point in serialising. I
guess Tenor is the only one.

Thanks for the offer of credit, you can if you want to (I've updated my
profile), but really there is no need. It was just a tiny idea to make our
lives here easier!

Lovely library btw.

Yes it is a good idea. I am going to make the Tenor Serializable
immediately.
There are a few items checked in but not yet released.

If you find out other, please let me know

Thanks a lot
Benoit

Send me your full name as I'd like to credit you for this.

I just realised TenorCode is an enum, hence serialisable by default.
Mainly Tenor, but I guess it make sense for some of the other too.
