5 When loading a new file removal of old image is painful - ID: 1822702
Last Update: Comment added ( epietrig )

When a large graph is loaded, loading another graph is painfully slow.
After selecting another file to generate the nodes (or items) are removed
from display one by one. It looks like each element removal causes a screen
re-draw. My 393K dot file take over a minute on my Xeon CPU 2.8 with 3 GB.

Can you remove it all in one go? Or block redraws?

Yes indeed... that was easy to fix. Will be in release that follows
0.7.2a. Commited to SVN on 20071104. Note requires latest ZVTM (SVN from
20071104 or release that follows 0.9.5a).
