net-snmp

Tracker: Bugs

5 5.4.1-ssl-3.win32: "snmpusm passwd" returns Unknown command" - ID: 1818941
Last Update: Attachment added ( brendansimon )

net-snmp-5.4.1-ssl-3.win32.exe (with Win32OpenSSL-0_9_8e.exe).

Executing "snmppasswd -v 3 -l authNoPriv -u admin -a sha -A Password#1
<host>
-Ca passwd <oldpw> <newpw> <user>" results in the error message "Unknown
command"
followed by usage output.

This command appears to work correctly on Debian Sid (Lenny+1).

Not sure what the issue is here. Looking at the source code, I can't see
how it could possibly fall through to the final else condition that outputs
the "Unknown command" string.

Thanks,
Brendan Simon.
