7 [G2][webdav] Client displays all child elements - ID: 1787472
Last Update: Comment added ( eighteenten )

Greetings,

I've recently upgraded by gallery prior to the 2.2.3 release, I'd like to
thank you guys for fixing the rename issue. But I have another problem.

This is the structute of my gallery albums:
-> Top-level gallery has 3 albums: A, B and C
-> Album B has a sub-album named D
-> Every album contains images
-> on webdav 1.0.0.2 The folder structure is correctly displayed on webdav
(Albums A, B, C at the top level)

However, when I patched to the 2.2.3 release, webDAV started displaying odd
album listings:
-> Given the same set of albums above, webDAV displays EVERYTHING on the
top level, meaning, if I point my webDAV client to
http://localhost/galler2/w/, it displays my 3 top-level albums A,B and C,
PLUS the child elements (sub-album, contents of the albums) of every album
in my gallery.

e.g., A,B,C, and D (sub-album on B) and every image on each album is being
displayed. on http://mysite.com/gallery2/w/ (<- Top-level of gallery)

Hope you guys can tell me if there's something I must reconfigure, or if
this one's a bug, please come up with a fix soon.

Thanks guys, more power!

I've downloaded the changes via svn. The web folders are working fine
now.
The web folder structure is now being displayed properly. I think you can
release this fix already.

Tested on Win2k's Web Folder, and KDE's Konqueror.

Meric

could you please upgrade your webdav module and verify that it works
correctly?
You can get the fixed webdav module from "site admin -> plugins -> get
more plugins" from the "experimental" repository.

Fixed in r17037.
If you look at the diff, you can easily patch your own version.

Waiting for another developer to approve before releasing the fix via
downloadable plugins.

Thanks for reporting the issue.

Bug confirmed with cadaver and MS Windows XP Explorer.

File-listing via webdav is broken, it defaults to listing all files/dirs
recursively.
