5 MediaWiki wants 20M of memory - ID: 1786476
Last Update: Comment added ( fincher )

Project: CStringTemplate
Unix Name: cst
Project Admin: Glenn McAllister (me)

I have setup MediaWiki 1.6.10 on my project web site, and it wants a
minimum of 20M of memory; LocalSettings.php sets it to that value. Reading
the various docs, I get 8M by default, but MediaWiki claims that certain
operations will fail if there is less than 20M allocated (not that they
specify what will possibly fail).

I'd prefer to leave it at this value seeing as thats what they recommend,
although I realize that that this does violate the general rule for project
web sites. What is SourceForge's policy on MediaWiki memory usage?

Thanks.
