5 how to add exceptions? - ID: 1776457
Last Update: Comment added ( jre-phoenix )

Somehow my dreamhost.com run email servers are being blocked by moblock
with standard settings - how could I go about adding an exception to the
block list?

Thanks for the great app.

since version 0.8-21 you just have to edit a line in
/etc/moblock/moblock.conf.

please look up either documentation on iptables or awk/grep/perl for
either manual insertion of exceptions into the firewall or for filtering of
blocking lists before they get loaded by moblock.

I close this - exeptions is a feature, that should maybe be there. But
time is short at the moment and it does not hurt to know how ones firewall
works.
