5 output directory creation when using options - ID: 1728994

Details:

When I use options and click ok (even if I don't change anything) I get an
error message that says "The output directory does not exist. Do you want
to create it?" and if I choose "yes" it creates the output directory
without even having added any files to encode. Shouldn't it be created when
the encoding starts?

A non-existing output directory is likely to be the result of a typo when users are entering the directory name manually. That's why it is checked when you close the configuration dialog. Other directories specified in the ouput file name pattern will be created only when encoding actually starts.
