7 progress percentage oddity - ID: 1726992
Last Update: Comment added ( dajhorn )

Hi

I am just wipping 3 disks at once - one is 80GB and two are 40GBs. The odd
thing is that progress indicator shows the same percetnage value for every
disk:

i.e.:

18.10%, round 1 of 1, pass 1 of 3] writting....

However, since disks capacity vary, it cannot be the same value. How dban
handles such case? I, seeing that progress indicator, suspect it may just
wipe 40GBs so the remaining space of my 80GB disk would remain untouched?
That would be a very serious issue then.

This is a cosmetic bug should be fixed in the dban-1.0.7 and dban-2.0.0
releases, but I forgot to mention it in the changelog.

Please reopen this ticket if the problem persists with the latest release.
