5 Problems with "Headings Type" in the Report Attributes - ID: 1725667

Details:

If Greasemonkey/APEX Builder Plugin is activated the "Headings Type" in the
Report Attributes have a strange behavior.

For example:

1) Go on page 3 of the Sample Application,
2) go into the "Reports Attributes" of the Products report.
3) "Headings Type" shows Custom
4) Click "Edit" link of any column, eg. PRODUCT_NAME
5) Use browser "Back" to go back to the "Reports Attributes"
6) "Headings Type" has changed to "PL/SQL" !!!!
7) If you now click onto an edit link again, you are asked for a PL/SQL
expression

Date: 2007-11-24 23:01 Sender: patrick_wolf Very strange behavior! If a <select ...> is added before the radio group the radio value is changed to the next one in case the back button of the browser is used. The problem does not occur if the page is opened directly. Workaround: Create the "Set" select list below the radio group.

As a workaround you can add "f?p=4000:420:" as "Excluded Pages" pattern. 1) Go to "Manage User Scripts..." 2) Select the "APEX Builder Plugin X.X" 3) Press the "Add" button in the "Excluded Pages" section 4) Add the pattern f?p=4000:420: That will disable the plugin on that page. I will add that into the plugin file as long as I haven't found what's causing the problem. Patrick
Date: 2007-11-02 14:08 Sender: nobody Logged In: NO I'm having this problem to and it's happening with enough frequency that it's forced me to turn off ApexBuilder (For now). Please let us know when you've come up with a patch. PS.. I'm still interested in Beta testing the extended Code Editor feature! Doug Gault
