5 Settings Won't Save - ID: 1715209
Last Update: Settings changed ( grosbedo )

When I try to enter my user settings form e-mail, SMTP server, etc., and
then click on OK, nothing happens. I have to "X" out of the window, and my
settings are not saved.

Hi all,

I've looked inside the sourcecode, and the problem comes from a very
little mistake but critical enough to prevent any saving of the
configuration via GUI.

I corrected it, so expect to see a new fully working version, as soon as I
can contact the original author of the project.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem and was only able to bypass it by manually
editing the configuration file in C:\Program Files\Panic Button.

I use Win XP SP2 (Firewall is disabled) and running Panic Button 2.5 on an
NTFS partitioned drive.

I hope that helps.

Love the concept - thank you.

I have the same problem though.

To answer your questions..

1. What version of Windows are you using? XP Home SP2
2. Is your partition formatted as NTFS or FAT32? NTFS
3. Which version of Panic Button are you using? 2.5

Thank you for your help.

I can't replicate the problem, so could you please answer the following
questions?

1. What version of Windows are you using?
2. Is your partition formatted as NTFS or FAT32? (to find this out,
right-click on the drive in Windows Explorer, then select Properties. Look
for "File System: "
3. Which version of Panic Button are you using?

I may have some more questions once I have the answers to these ;-)
