Could not be installed on 250GB hard drive.
Machine Specs:
AMD Athlon X2 4200
ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
Western Digital 250GB 16MB WD2500KS
768MB RAM
Installation Result:
When installed XOSL2 as dedicated partition on 7MB-sized logical partition
on extended primary parition, both SmartBoot and Ranish enabled, it says
the following:
Unable to create XOSLDATA.XDF
If you try to install XOSL2 on a DOS drive (not as dedicated partition) it
says:
Unable to located drive C
If you try to install XOSL2 from the logical drive itself and install it as
dedicated partition on itself, it succeeds partially, but during it says
the following during SmartBoot Manager installation:
Loading SBMINST.EXE
:not enough memory
The same is true if you install it from another partition.
But I am successful installing XOSL2 on older drives such as Seagate 4GB.
It could even boot my OS in my new drive. So what's the problem? I am
suspecting the XOSL2 was unable to write to the MBR properly.
