5 emerge sync Depreciation Warning - ID: 1694568

Details:

Using Porthole 0.5.0 and portage 2.1.2.2, I receive a warning saying that
"emerge sync" is deprecated and suggest using "emerge --sync" instead.

Date: 2007-04-06 23:37 Sender: dol-sen Yes, it is already fixed in cvs. There is also a patch for -0.5.0 in the patches area if you want to apply it. I was not going to release an ebuild revision for it because I am trying to get a new release out in the next couple weeks. There is a lot more than just that that needed updating due to changes in portage. It will work in the meantime though.
