Details:

If you scroll half way down a table and then try to sort it, the table
heading disappears in IE6. This does not happen in Firefox 2, which keeps
the heading and works correctly.

This can be easily recreated by adding sortable to one of the columns in
the scrolling table example, and trying to sort after scrolling some way
down.

The bug will automatically close in two weeks if there is no additional comments posted to the bug. Therefore, if you integrate the latest sources into your build and verify the fix is working, no additional action need be taken. However, if you update to YUI 2.5.0 and you are still seeing a problem, please do the following - add a comment to the bug stating the regression failed and include any details that may be unique to 2.5.0 - attach any updated sample code necessary for us to reproduce the issue By updating the bug as stated above, the Status will reset to open and we will re-investigate the issue.

Date: 2007-04-19 17:12 Sender: makokibcn Not necessary looses the heading when you try to sort the datatable, the heading is lost always when you add records and previosly you have scroll down into any position of the datatable.

Date: 2007-03-15 16:25 Sender: ajones86 Update: It seems the same thing happens when you add rowSingleSelect:true to the table, and select a row after scrolling down a little bit. Again this is only in IE, not Firefox. Guess this deserves a bit more priority so am setting it to 7.
