reading, nor for training.
- My computer is a :
Acer TravelMate 2702WLMi

40GB HDD
DVD-Dual (support DVD+-RW)

This is an understatement.

I imported a bmp file for training and then applications started crashing
and I got some C++ error and then Windows went into self protect mode - a
blue screen - which told me to reboot the computer and hope for the best.
And since I have not run this again, there is no more problems. I have a
Dell Dimension 3000 running Windows XP SP2 English.

I was told to submit an attachment.

Hello,

I have just verified what you requested...Actually, and happily 'drag and
drop' works fine ! But when I want to use the folder box, here what happens
:
- I click on "import writing" in the menu
- A box opens, allowing me to browse my files
- I choose a bmp image
- I click "open"
- The box disappears
- the touchscreen glitters a bit, but stays empty
- That's all !

I must admit I did not get the point with the last handling ??...!!

Best regards,
Jean-Charles.

Can you specify the exact thing that happens when you try to load a file?
In other words, does it bring up a dialog asking you to choose a file? If
so, after you choose the file and click "Open", does any error message
appear, or does nothing happen at all?

Also, does dragging and dropping the file from a folder window to the
program do anything (it should load the file just like importing it).

Also, you might want to try saving and loading a .isd file (a
STIHRS-specific format the stores touch screen data) and seeing if that
works at all. This can be done by saying "Export Writing" and saving the
data as a .isd file, then saying "Import Writing" and loading it again.

Thanks for your help.
