5 Ripoff halts in extraction after one or two songs. - ID: 1672489

Details:

Using a laptop, with CDROM drive that is rather aggressive in spin-down to
save power. No idea if related, just throwing it out there.

Popped in the CD, checked off 6 songs. First 2 ripped ok, apart from the
error noted in prior bug with folder name. Extraction dialog moved onto
third, but no progress was made, and shortly the drive spun down.

After canceling and restarting the extraction, it extracted that song, and
halted on the next one. This had to be repeated several times to finish
the 6 I wanted off the CD.

Was using MP3 extraction and RipOff 0.8.2

Date: 2007-03-05 16:23 Sender: brnewber Short of having your computer and particular CD it is very difficult for me to recreate this. Please recompile ripoff with ./configure --enable-debugging and rip your CD. Post the terminal output you get here. That way I can get a better idea of where ripoff is hanging.
