Details:

Please, add a png icon to be used in desktop menus (in
kde/gnome/xfce/e17...).

You can check the following bug report in gentoo:

And you can use the icon attached

Date: 2008-01-17 23:53 Sender: matthewg42 What's wrong with the .bmp file - Is it a patent encumbrance issue? At present the Stellarium source distribution doesn't make gnome and/or KDE menu entries or icons - this is something for distribution packagers to do, and so I'm not sure it's an issue for Stellarium, but for gentoo and the other distros directly.
