Last Update: Comment added ( nobody )

How about an option to make pasting from JumpCut a "pop" operation, so that
one could e.g. copy five things from one place and then paste them in
succession (LIFO order) in another?

This could be controlled by a modifier key, or an alternate invocation key,
or a preference setting.

I've been looking for a feature like this too. It's starting to be added to
commercial copy buffers.

It could be set up as a separate keystroke, so you could choose to use it
if you want or use the standard paste if you don't want to pop an item off
the copy buffer.

Anyway, I hope this idea is given another look.

Don't you think that that is too complicated? If I wanted to do that, I
would paste all five into a
new document and drag from that. Surely paste means to insert the
clipboard contents into the current
document (usually replacing any selection) without altering the
clipboard.

You are altering the clipboard.
