The GPS client will always connect to triptracker.dyndns.org on port 443
(which is the current default) even if you change the host and port value
on the login screen.
In v0.8.1 gps.ui.LoginController line 54 you have the following code:

----------
This is called when the Login button is pressed and it does not pass on the
host or port value, which is simply ignored.
