cpack files into C source

Apply some kind of compression to files. This may be beyond the scope. It
will certainly make the resulting "C" file less portable in that the
decompression library will most likely NOT be part of the C source.

Perhaps there is a lightweight compression routine which compiles easily
and can be included as part of the "C" source.
