8 Fails to start without gnome-terminal profiles - ID: 1609118

Details:

ClusTerm fails to start if the user doesn't have a Gnome-terminal
configuration.

The failing part is:

215 $self->{profiles} =
$gconf->get_list('/apps/gnome-terminal/global'
216 .'/profile_list');

218 for(my $i = 0; $i < @{$self->{profiles}}; $i++) {

in /usr/share/clusterm/ClusTerm/Preferences.pm.

This can be remedied with installing and starting gnome-terminal and saving
the defaults.

Date: 2006-12-05 16:55 Sender: rafke1 Yes, clusterm is currently tightly coupled with the use of gnome-terminal. I didn't want to reimplement all the preference settings in gnome-terminal. Even so, the goal was to have some default settings when no gnome-terminal profile was found, but I guess it doesn't work as expected.
