This is me feature.
What does it do?
It allows users to put a mark onto a photo if they have recognized
themselves on it.
How should it work?
Below every picture you will find a link called "This is me". If you
stumble upon your own picture, you can click that link in order to put a
sign with your username (or other details eg age) onto that picture. The
sign will be placed in the middle of the picture first, but by dragging it
with the mouse, you are able to position it correctly on the photo. After
you are satisfied with the position, you have to confirm it by clicking a
hook symbol (or any other symbol) next to the sign. Then the username/age
will be shown on the picture.
Features:
- place username or other profile details onto a picture to indicate that
the person on the picture is him/her
- sign/mark can be positioned anywhere on the picture by mouse
- stats show how many people have recognized themselves (like how many
comments or visits have been counted in that album)
- ability to limit marks to a certain number of photos within a certain
timeframe to avoid spam
- delete all marks by a certain user (eg in case he was banned)
- (optional) sign should be linked to user' s profile
- (optional) ability to put custom text onto the picture. It might be
better to show the comment only upon mouse over or even below the picture
as a regular comment.
- (optional) show marked pictures in profile or a link which leads to a
page with all photos the user has marked
