5 redeclaration of setFullYear - ID: 1589389
Last Update: Comment added ( epretorious )

Hi,

I used your calendar in a webpage, and I lost 45
minutes of debugging and finally found you did
something really really bad !.

You redeleared the prototype setFullYear of the object
Date of javascript !!!!

Totally a nonsence !

Seriously, everybody who needs this function is fucked
and will debug for hours because you decide to use the
same function name...

I did a search and replace in calendar.js replacing
all occurences of setFullYear for setFullYear2 and
everything seems to work.

This is a needed fix, I didn't check, but if you did
that for other function names that exists already in
javascript, it's a nonsence !

Imagine how people will waste time debugging if they
use a language construct that you have redeclared !

By the way, the product is really cool, but that point
really need to be fixed

Thanks a lot

1. There is no file "calendar.js"
2. There are no occurences of the setFullYear() function in any of the
files. i.e.,
1. DHTML_Calendar.html,
2. DHTML_Calendar.js, and
3. DHTML_Calendar.css.
