5 Can't open Photo Database with iPod Nano - ID: 1567935
Last Update: Comment added ( flagar )

I can't open the Photo Database with version 0.6.1 (I
could with 0.6.0).

I'm using a first generation iPod Nano (firmware
version 1.2).

That was a silly code bug, now solved with the 0.6.2 release.

i have exactly the same problem with the same console
error messages, the same 1st gen nano (v1.2) and the same
gpixpod version. I'm on Ubuntu Dapper as well. I seem to
be seeing a pattern here?
The tree view ist just ... empty and the album thingy on
the right kind of grayed out. On top of that, the status
bar tells me to "connect my ipod", although it is already
connected (gpixpod _did_ find the database itself. Just
doesn't open it, it seems. But it is able to delete an
existing db alright and create a new empty one, too, I've
tried).
