Details:

If I knew more about plug-in development, I'd have
sample code or something...

What about adding a checkbox in the toolbar of the SQL
Editor, so that execution of the contents gets sent to
the same results tab, rather than pulling up a new tab
for each execution? I can't imagine this being a large
effort - but would keep the number of result windows
smaller when user's run the same query over and over
again.

Just a thought...

I will try to write up sample code to do it and submit
it in...

PS - awesome tool!

PPS - is there some setting to have insert, update, and
delete statements also be captured in the sql history?

If you want to refresh the results, just make sure the table widget is active by selecting a cell and then press F5. This will refresh the results in the same tab. PS Thanks PPS They should be, but only succesfully executed statements are logged.
