The attached packaging builds the 622.3 odctools from Xcode 2.4.
I am willing to take over this package as it is essential to gcc4 which I also
will be maintaining.
checked on macintel and ppc.
1) same validator comment _ please tell me a string of < 45 chars for the
description. (eg, "Darwin cctools, code base to support gcc4").
2) builds fine, the couple of tools I've tested do so too, and the 2 deps g95
and gcc4 build well with it.
3) The configure scripts of both g95 and gcc4 have a number of lines like
"checking whether assembler.." or "checking assembler for.." .
I'm not used to those pkgs, so I can't tell whether all those replies are correct
(or at least as with the previous odcctools).
I trust you did, but in case you forgot _ could you check those replies, just to
be completely confident...
4) As soon as I have your reply (and if nobody more knowledgeable than me,
eg jeff or pogma, is looking at this), I'm willing to commit to 10.4 (have no
10.3 to test).

is fine. Go ahead and change that.
3) The build is identical as before. Only the tarball
has been updated so there should be no worries about
the checks for the assmbler, etc. If you are worried,
log the gcc4 and g95 build again search for the
instances of ld and as to see that the complete path
to the odcctools version is in fact used. I'm sure that
is the case.

(3) I know this; the purpose was that those checks could have uncovered some
changes (or errors) in the new version of odcctools, for which one or more pkgs
might have to be adapted.
Had a look myself.

There was a minor nitpick from the validator about the length of the
Description.
Otherwise it looked to build and run.
