iTunes Library Updater 2

Tracker: Feature Requests

8 Logfile that contains changes made by iTLU - ID: 1559584
Last Update: Comment added ( ttuncmd )

Right now the tracks will be added and I don't know
which tracks were added.

Sometimes tracks, that were missing in itunes, would
be recovered. Therefor I need to know which songs
came back . Than I want to restore my worthful
ratings, which I export/backup frequently.

Another point could be to interrupt the adding by
asking what songs should be added, because sometimes
there songs occured which should be deleted.

Thanks

Andreas

P.S. Maybe there is already a log but i couldn't find
it.

Temporary workaround, use the command line version and append:
>>iTLU.log 2>&1
to the command.

Note that iTLU only outputs changes, so this is not equivalent to a full
log file.

See:
http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/batch.mspx?mfr=true

Example:

REM Note: check paths
cd %USERHOME%

REM This example adds new content but does not clean out old files.
REM Log file will not be overwritten ">>", it keeps appending log data for
every run
"%PROGRAMFILES%\iTunes Library Updater\ITLUconsole.exe" /a /r /x /e:".mp3
.m4p .m4a .m4b .m4v .mpg .mpeg .mov .aac" "%USERPROFILE%\My
Music\iTunes\iTunes Music" "SOME OTHER DIRECTORYs with new files"
>>iTLU.log 2>&1
