5 Array index error (message dialog) - ID: 1555973
Last Update: Comment added ( mattborn )

I get an error while trying to subscribe to my Google
calendar.

A dialog pops up after I enter my username and password
and it says: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

I made my calendar public and used that ICS link and
got a dialog with the following message: StartIndex
cannot be less than zero. Parameter name: startIndex.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Ahh, and I have some more information. I was subscribing to not a Google
calendar but a privately-hosted calendar. The error only occurs when I
have to enter username and password. Subscribing to the calendar without a
username and password works fine.

Hey guys, just ran into this one as well. I'm interested in getting this
fixed; does anybody have any more recent experiences with it?

I am also getting "StartIndex cannot be less than zero" error. I changed
my password to be all letters, and it didn't seem to matter if it was all
letters the error seems to happen before even attempting a login.

My Google Calendar is not the original default calendar, for some stupid
reason I deleted that one and only have 1 calendar now, which I had
created, if that makes any difference.

No, I'm not telling that it created appointments which didn't exist.
I said that I had gotten the same error with the startIndex as others. The
reason could be in the "strange
localized name" of my calendar. I also said that before I experienced the
error I had had many
appointments in Outlook and none in Gmail.
Sorry for the confusion.

The same happened to me. I have a localized version of MS Outlook 2003
with the default folder
named "Kalendář" (accented a and r) instead of Calendar.
Google account contained no entries, while my Outlook calendar contained
many items with
different "strange" characters.

Hi,
mmm...is it possible that you're using some strange
characters in your password/username?
No appointments at all are created? Even in the default
Folder of Outlook?
Could you paste me a copy of your iCalendar?

On a whim, I just tried entering bogus information for the
login and password - it appears that no connection attempt
is made before the error occurs - I'd have to verify w/
Ethereal but the error comes up almost immediately.

Certainly, no authentication is performed as I would expect
an "invalid username/password message."
