5 Locomotive hangs if project is unavailable - ID: 1552374

Details:

I have some Locmotive projects on an external drive. If I launch
Locomotive without the external drive mounted, it hangs before a GUI is
seen. Perhaps some way of indicating that a project exists but is
unavailable could help?
